Penny
received her dental hygiene degree from Prairie
State College in 1972. Penny has worked with
us for 20 years. Her duties include performing
regular and frequent prophylaxis, periodontal
scaling and root planing, and oral home care
counseling. She received her board certification
for performing injections on patients for scaling
and root planing procedures in late 2002.
Penny
and her husband Wayne have four grown children and
reside in Peotone. Wayne is a veterinarian and he
opened a practice in Manteno in 1997. They are
enjoying their grandsons, Ethan, born in April of
2004, Lincoln born in July 2005, and Zachary born
in 2007.
Peggy
joined our team on August 1, 2006. Her passion for
dental hygiene began when she was a receptionist in
a dental office. Peggy received her dental hygiene
degree in 2001 from Prairie State College. She
enjoys camping, NASCAR racing, and above all,
having fun with her favorite birthday present, her
daughter Kaylee. Kaylee was born in 2005. Peggy
resides in Manteno
Kare
is the new addition to our hygiene team. Kare
received her degree in dental hygiene in May of
2007 from Parkland College in Champaign. She also
received her certification for administration of
local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation while
at Parkland. Kare resides in Danforth with her
family. She grew up on a farm where they raise
certified Angus beef cattle, corn and soy beans.
When not working, Kare enjoys spending time working
out, playing or watching sports, scrap booking,
cooking, and baking.
Donna
began working for Dr. March in 1990 as a business
assistant. Her responsibilities include
helping our patients with scheduling their
treatment and coordinating their insurance and
financial arrangements. Donna’s husband,
David, is the pastor of the Manteno Church of God.
Donna and David have two sons. Eric, their
oldest, has three children, Johannah, Brandon and
Brianna. Brian, the younger son, recently
married, is youth and associate pastor at the
Manteno Church of God.
Penny
started in November of 1997 as a full time dental
assistant. She now has 18 years of experience in
the dental field. She worked with Dr. March
clinically assisting for five years. Penny now
spends most of her day as one of our business
assistants, making appointments, handling phone
calls, and organizing patient charts. You will
still see Penny helping out chair side with Dr.
March as needed. Penny resides in Monee with her
husband Pete, and son Matthew. She enjoys outside
activities, camping, gardening, walking and bike
riding.
Syamla
started working for Dr. March in September of 2004
as a full time dental assistant. She has been in
the dental field for eight years, and has been
chair side assisting for the past five years. Her
duties include, dental radiographs, taking
impressions, making temporary crowns, and a
multiple of other procedures to help our patients.
She was born in India, and moved to the USA when
she was 14 years old. She has been married for 17
years. She and her husband, John a veterinarian
reside in Peotone. They have lived there for the
past 15 years. She enjoys working out, performing
Indian classical dance, and playing with her two
wonderful cats.
Norma
started working as a full time chair side assistant
in June 2005. However, she is not new to the field.
Norma assisted years ago before taking time off to
raise her two sons. Norma’s duties include dental
radiographs, taking impressions, and a variety of
other duties to help assist Dr. and our patients.
Norma resides in Crete with her husband Tom, and
while not working, she enjoys watching her sons
Kyle and Luke play ball and spending time with
them.
Emily
started in 2003 as a full time chair side
assistant. Since the birth of her daughter,
Kristen, she is with us on a part-time basis. She
resides in Manteno with her husband, Colin.
